What’s up? My name is Erik. People call me Ritt (brevity of my long last name that stuck since my Navy days).
I’m a firefighter/paramedic, father, blogger, photography enthusiast, truth seeker and part-time wanderer. I’m a regular guy with ordinary obligations who still finds time to live an inexpensively adventurous and meaningful life.
And so can you.
We’re only on this beautiful planet for a brief 28,835 days, if we’re lucky. It’s on us to make sure we make these days count. And what a time to be alive. We literally have the world in the palm of our hands. We have more opportunity to live life on our own terms than any time in history.
So this site is a reflection and contemplation of the art of living.
I’ll be sharing my ramblin’ excursions, off-beat travels, blogs and images. I’ll attempt to show how you also can make time for a life outside the box of conventionality. If we can overcome the fear of the unknown, tear down the walls of security and are willing to rethink our beliefs, an unimaginable world awaits us.
Go explore, capture amazing images, share them, write about it and live life so well that death will tremble to take you.
Thanks a lot for checking out my site.
